Paper factory in north Wales

On January 22, 2018, DDM started the dismantling of a paper factory in north Wales.

Phase 1 involves the removal of approximately 225 tons of stainless steel tanks, pipework and machines. Overhead cranes and steel structures are also removed in this phase.

The customer is headquartered in Scandinavia but operates worldwide. Like all international clients, safety is their first priority. In the initial phase of this project, a good relationship was built and trust was cultivated.

The DDM team manually dismantled many of the machines and removed them with the overhead cranes. Some larger parts of the installation are shared and removed in parts. These are further scrapped outside. On the lower floor, the pipework and equipment are removed by hot work supported by an 8-ton crane.
